We're excited to announce a new capability in saucectl that allows you to specify the Node.js version for Cypress, Playwright and TestCafe tests.
Minimum Requirements:
- saucectl v0.185.0 or higher
- Cypress 13.13.3 or higher (how to configure)
- Playwright 1.46.1 or higher (how to configure)
- TestCafe 3.6.2 or higher (how to configure)
In that case, saucectl will select our platform default, which generally corresponds to the current Active LTS.
No. Only two major versions are supported right now, v20 and v22. You can also find this information in our Cypress, Playwright and TestCafe specific documentation.
That will continue to depend on which test framework version you are using. Please refer to our release page for Cypress, Playwright and TestCafe. We do urge you to upgrade your saucectl version, as we will deprecate and remove this behavior in the near future.
