Stop an Automated Appium Session for Real Devices
To ensure that you have more control over your automated* Appium sessions on Real Devices, we are excited to offer you the option to stop long-running/blocked sessions. This feature gives you the option to free up your minutes/public device concurrency/private device and can be done in three ways:
- Through the Stop Job API (for more information see Stop A Job). See the image "Stop Job API"
- Through the "Automated > Test Results" overview page. You will find the "Stop session" button when the device is in a "Running" state. See the image "Stop an Appium session from the Test Results page".
- Through the Test Details page. See the image "Stop a session Appium from the Test Details page".
The end status of the job will be set to "Errored" and the Test Details page will hold a banner with more information, see the image "End Status".
